RHS soccer kicks off season with rout of Wautoma

Ben Pulvermacher goes past a defender.

The Tiger soccer team opened their season with a 10-1 victory over Wautoma Tuesday at Ingall’s Field.

With a very young squad, Ripon saw playing time by everyone and had scoring from five players and assists from a variety of players. Leading the scoring was Brady Erickson with three goals in each half, the earliest at the 5:07 mark.

“Brady did a great job on the field not just in scoring but in working the ball around from his midfielders,” coach Don Bogdanske said. “He also did a great job helping the younger players.”

Josue Andrade scored on a cross but that was called off due to offside. Other goals were scored by Ben Pulvermacher, Ben Erickson and Sam Vander Plas.
