RHS tracksters have individual success at Chilton Invite

The Ripon track and field team finished mid-pack at the Chilton Invite Tuesday night.

The girls’ squad placed fifth and the boys’ fourth in the event.

Top girls’ individual event winners included: Haley Schatzke and Maria Schroeder, who tied for second in high jump with a distance of 4 feet, 8 inches; Ruth Schroeder, shot put, 28-11.75, third; Megan Bradshaw, discus, 87-8, third.

Boys’ finishers of note were: Jared Langenhorst, 100-meter run, 11.75 seconds, first; Langenhorst, 200, 24.13, second; Joe Ott, 110-hurdles, 15.98, first; Ott, 300 hurdles, 44.3, third; and Trevor Robichaud, discus, 131-11, third.

Results from Monday’s meet at Little Chute were not available.

Tom Callen Invite

Ripon’s premier home track meet of the season, the Tom Callen Invite, was abbreviated due to rain last week Thursday.
