For the fourth-consecutive year, the Ripon Tiger boys’ cross country team competed last week Saturday at the state meet.
Unfortunately, it was not able to match the success of the previous three years’ totals and finished 15th out of 16 teams.
The boys finished 10th in each of the previous three state meets.
“‘Disappointing’ would be the No. 1 phrase for all of us,” coach Chris Gatzke said. “We made it for the fourth time, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you don’t finish well.”
