The Tiger girls played their best game of the season from start to finish last week Wednesday, according to Ripon High School girls’ basketball coach Bill Peters.

Unfortunately, the team wasn’t able to come up with a win, falling in heart-breaking fashion for the second night in a row. Ripon lost to Division 1 Hartford 48-46 on the last night of the Fond du Lac Tournament.

The Tigers got off to a good start, getting fast-break opportunities in their first six possessions. Although they didn’t capitalize on all six, Peters was pleased with the tempo as his players got off to their best start of the year. Starting games slowly on offense has hurt the Tigers all season.
