Tiger girls break through

In its fourth attempt of the season, the Ripon Tiger girls’ basketball team was able to put a mark in the win column.

Ripon defeated Omro 43-38 in Eastern Valley Conference play at Ripon High School Monday.

Earning the first win of the young season wasn’t easy, as the improved Foxes put up a fight until the end.

“They play hard and scrappy,” coach Bill Peters commented.
