Ripon High School girls’ basketball coach Bill Peters knew his team would be an underdog almost every time it stepped on the floor this season.

But, he didn’t know he would enjoy it so much.

And the players appear to be taking to the role. The Tigers won their second game in a row last week Thursday with a 52-38 win over Clintonville.

“I’m enjoying being the underdog,” he said. “It’s a big difference [from past years]. We’re going into every game thinking we can knock someone off.”
