The Tiger girls’ came very close to picking up win number two on the season Tuesday night. Unfortunately, close doesn’t count in basketball.

Ripon fell in double-overtime to North Fond du Lac 59-56. The Tigers are now 1-5 overall.

After being down by 14 points at halftime, the Tigers battled in the second half and tied the score at 45 at the end of regulation on a Lily Jorgensen 2-point shot.

Finding itself down in the second overtime, Ripon battled back again to even the score when Taylor Vander Plas hit a 2-point shot to knot it up at 52.
