The Tiger boys’ basketball team extended its winning streak to three with a 42-38 victory in Berlin Monday night. The win improved Ripon to 3-1 in conference. Berlin fell to 1-5 in conference.
Ripon played three games in a five-day stretch, winning all three. Monday’s game was rescheduled from Dec. 8, when snow forced a cancellation.
The Tigers built an early 15-3 lead in the first quarter and were able to hang on in a game that became very physical down the stretch.
“We played well out of the chute,” coach Dean Vander Plas said.
