The Green Lake Half Marathon is under new management, but that didn’t stop runners from giving it their all Sunday.
To commemorate the race’s 10th year, it featured the addition of a 10k, along with the traditional 13.1-mile race and 5k race. The event also featured a kids’ fun run and mascot race.
Another new addition to the race this year was a free yoga session for participants of the three races.
Race Directors Matthew Gordillo and Ali Rossberg noted they’re trying to make the event more of an all-encompassing fitness weekend.
Members of the original 13dot1 committee also participated in the event to show their support for Gordillo and Rossberg in their first year orchestrating the race.
