With the weekend upon us, one may wonder, “What’s going on this weekend?”

Well, we’re here to help (as we do every weekend).

Live music at Vines & Rushes Friday

Sam Gauthier, a singer/songwriter & guitarist, will give folks a glimpse into her personal journey with music when she performs at Vines & Rushes Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

“Select your favorite wine, cider, or Knuth Brewing Company craft beer, custom order a wood fired pizza, and sit back and enjoy the music,” the winery’s website said. “Wood fired pizza is served from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.”

Family trivia night is coming to Thrasher

A Family Trivia Night, hosted by Thrasher Opera House, is set for Friday at 6:30 p.m. and will feature trivia questions designed for the entire family to enjoy.

Kids and adults alike will stay interested with questions in a range of topics, such as Who is not a member of the “Teen Titans Go” television show (based on a full color picture shone on the participant’s computer screen)? Or, in “Full House,” Danny Tanner has three daughters and their names are?

Patrons can participate virtually from the comfort of their own home — or in person at the historic opera house in a safe, socially distant atmosphere, where masks will be required and hand sanitizer will be on hand.

The cost is $5 per person and individuals may learn more or sign up by visiting www.thrasheroperahouse.com or by calling our office 920.294.4279.

To play virtually, participants need to download Zoom on their computer (this is how the game/questions will be viewed during trivia night). In addition, they will need to sign up for the Kahoot! app on a smart device (phone or tablet) beforehand in order to submit answers. On trivia night, participants will be sent a Zoom Link via email. Join in anytime between 6 to 6:25 p.m.

To play in person: Doors open at 6 p.m. and trivia starts at 6:30 p.m. Limited spots available To adhere to social distancing guidelines, each team will be assigned their own table when they arrive. Game/questions will be shown on the big screen, teams just need one smart device in order to submit their answers.

Participants may sign up for the Kahoot! app beforehand. A variety of snacks and beverages will be sold; no carry-ins are allowed. At the end of the games, prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Town Square yoga class

Town Square Community Center is hosting a yoga class with Carol Skivington Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m.

“Town Square group fitness classes have been one of the most popular programs from the start,” said Amy Reese, marketing and events manager at Town Square. “Yoga is another way to have fun while improving your overall health and wellness, one of Town Square’s missions for the community.”

Skivington teaches from the Hatha yoga tradition, and her classes incorporate breath work, poses and meditation to unite strength and flexibility.
